"Unless the Lord builds the house,
its builders labor in vain.''

(Psalm 127:1)

This logo, designed for the Tenth Anniversary, makes several important
statements about the nature of the church.

First, it emphasizes the people over the building. God's people are "living
stones" being built into a holy temple for Him on the foundation of the cornerstone which is Jesus Christ. Notice that the people are individuals of different sizes and shapes, reminding us of God's personal relationship with each and His unique gifting of each. They are, however, gathered together as a unity joined in fellowship by the Holy Spirit.

Second, although less prominent than the people, the building itself stands in the background reminding us of God's faithfulness to Covenant over the years in providing for all our needs, especially meeting places when we've needed them.

Third, the building appears to be overflowing with people,a picture of our vision to see God use the church mightily to reach many in north Jersey for His kingdom family.

And finally, over all is the Cross of Christ, which is the core of the Gospel and the rallying point for all Christians.
